The first capacity building session of SME Green Skills HUB has been held for the staff of the project partners in order to train them in each of the 6 units developed as part of the curriculum to implement the SDGs in SMEs. The content of each of these units has been developed by a project partner and each responsible has presented its structure and content to the whole consortium. These six units are part of the first output of the project, European Framework of Competencies to implement the SDGs in SMEs, coordinated by Mindshift, which is already finalised in English.

During this first training event, the next phase of the project has been also addressed, the development of the Virtual Campus, coordinated by INFODEF, that will host, among other contents, the six learning units as well as other training contents aimed at adult educators and in-company trainers dedicated to the training of SME staff in various fields. This part of the training session has focused on how to develop innovative and attractive content for the future campus as part of the VOOC (Vocational Open Online Courses), as well as dynamic assessment tests using tools such as H5P. The training has been also focused on how to implement the Online Instructional Guide on Digital Competencies for Virtual Learning.

This short-term joint staff training has taken place over three days, from 22 to 24 February in Istanbul, with the participation of 15 workers from the organisations involved in the project. The participants took part in a face-to-face and virtual way, resulting in a hybrid event.
