This course is made up of three consecutive lessons, each complementary to each other respectively. Learner’s level of awareness on the matter of sustainability and its sphere of influence is intended to get raised and, in the meanwhile, SMEs are aimed to become increasingly conscious about the possible profitability by paying more attention to sustainability measures. Three lessons will follow the same case study of a hypothetical factory trying to catch up with an impending and pushy competition and end up developing heightened sensibility paying back financially. At the end of the lesson SMEs and stakeholders will have been endowed with and learn to:
- Better collaborate with a broader stakeholders’ network for far-reaching and impactful dissemination activities concerning sustainability achievements
- Adeptly use selected standards to report information on the impacts of SMEs initiatives targeting specific users or purposes
- Properly disseminate organisational SDG-related data and achievement indicators
- Broad knowledge on the applicability of sustainable progress for a wide range of stakeholders
- Collective and communal responsibility for inclusion of stakeholders in decision-making
- Reasonable possibility of bringing sustainability together with profit
- Appropriately advise SMEs to use GRI Standards for corporate reporting
