In the last years we have been witnessing an integration of the environmental and sustainability variables within the companies strategic planning processes. Companies have been increasingly asked, by stakeholders or regulations, to face ecological constraints and social barriers, which affect products, processes, management and organisation, impacting significantly on internal strategies and policies. All this highlights how the environment and sustainability variables are not based only on economic-financial parameters, but also on qualitative and quantitative ones. This course will introduce to the participants the Balanced Scorecard (BSC) tool, a dashboard for measuring company performance, which takes into account the following four elements of value creation:
- stakeholder satisfaction;
- internal processes performances;
- innovation and learning degree;
- economic and financial performance.
Once the theoretical reference framework has been defined and the BSC sustainable model has been introduced, learners will be supported in applying it with reference to their own business situation.
